Artist Statement

Society is the essence of artistic work in drawing attention to and sensitivity to social problems in the context of art understandings based on artistic understanding. Particularly those whose work is dominated by surrealist influences with connotations on ready objects are shaped by elements of reproduction, sameness, and similarity. Apart from the surrealist elements, sometimes choosing a clear language of artistic expression without profound meaning also exhibits realist approaches in terms of the meanings of the objects. The artist's trial to find a way to express each excitement in developing a new ceramic language by making use of mechanical recycle materials. This phrase consists of the repetition of industrial elements, which lead to a ceramic sculpture.

The point of view created by the use of a traditional material in contemporary art emphasizes ceramics with its reinterpretation ability on today's platform. Different décor and firing methods are used in order to shift the axes of the perceptions on the material and to improve the different viewpoints by utilizing all the techniques of ceramics material (Wheel-thrown, Hand building, mold casting).
