Artaxis Board of Directors Code of Ethics

We will be open to new ideas so that we can better evaluate new programs and initiatives and ensure Artaxis will be adaptable to changes in the field. We will value what one another has to say and listen to new perspectives, understanding that listening means working to understand the point someone is trying to make.

We agree that we are better when we work together. We will combine our skills and perspectives to make our work more efficient and impactful and we understand that working together is more enjoyable than working alone.

We will trust that each Board member has the best intentions for the health and vitality of Artaxis. There may be times when we don’t agree, but we trust that we all come to the conversation with a common goal – to do what we can to enable Artaxis to fulfill its mission.

We celebrate and embrace all people in our communities because we know that everyone holds a unique perspective that enriches our field. Equity and inclusion will be at the forefront of all of our decision making.

We will be honest with each other and trustworthy in our interactions with other Board members and the Artaxis organization. Our sense of integrity will start with ourselves and extend to the organization as a whole.

We agree that we are always learning. Mistakes will be made, but we will reflect on them and learn from them. We will support each other in our learning processes.
