Artist Statement

My artwork is a way to control the anxieties and stress that I have inside. It is a way to escape from my onslaught of thoughts. This stress and worries cause do not let me talk to others and this lack of social connection manifests in different ways in my work. My works are combined with ceramic and often with video, sound, and light. Shadow and texture are two essential elements in my works, which I address by playing with light sources and the way I photograph.
