A vessel is used as a carrier of an internal landscape. A blossoming spine, veins that become roots, internal organs transformed, giving alternative views and perspectives of the interior body. Like a reinterpreted x-ray revealing the vulnerability and the complex magic of the hidden beneath our skin, attempting a new understanding of what it is to be human.

This series of archetypal vessels seek to create an imaginary fragile landscape reminiscent of geological phenomena, coral and volcanic formations. Like otherworldly living organisms, through their rhythmical patterns and colourful tactile surface, they seek to transport us to a lost Arcadian landscape. The sculptural elements can be combined with those of the natural world, branches, flowers leaves, in ways that remind us that nature art and design can be in constant interplay.

Artist Statement
The cycle of life, from conception to birth, blossoming to fallowing, leading to death – and once again - is the primary subject that keeps coming back in my practice through different forms.
Each time new and old fragments (re)appear forming a picture of the world, how we perceive it, connect with it, connect with others.
Art is an antidote to brutality, cartographing the antithesis of our nature, transforming thoughts and feelings into objects.
Acts as vehicle, turning realities outside everyday experience, into images of beings and worlds beyond nature, striving to embrace them through alternative paths.
