The University of North Carolina at Pembroke seeks a temporary (one year) full-time, non-tenure-track instructor to teach multiple courses in ceramics and to supervise and maintain a ceramics studio. The successful applicant may begin August 2016. Responsibilities: Teach 4/3 course load. Participate in departmental activities and committees. The Art Department includes 9 tenured or tenure-track faculty, 1 Visiting Martha Beach Chair, 5 adjuncts, and a studio technician. We offer a B.A. in Art – Studio Track with specialization in Ceramics, Digital Arts, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture; and a B.A. in Art – Art Education Licensure (K-12) Track; and MA and MAT degrees in Art Education, and minors in Art, Media Integration Studies, and Art History.
