The Department of Art & Art History at Auburn University is seeking an instructor of ceramics for the Spring semester in the 2016/17 academic year. This is a part-time, temporary replacement position for a faculty member who will be on parental leave. The teaching assignment is two courses, advanced ceramics with a maximum enrollment of 14 and hand building with a maximum enrollment of 16.
Applicants with the M.F.A. degree are preferred, however, applicants with a minimum of 15 hours of graduate level course work in ceramics or ceramic artists with significant professional experience may be considered.
