The Department of Art at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse is seeking an ad hoc lecturer to teach two Ceramics courses in person. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in both hand-building and wheel-throwing, glaze formulation and electric and gas kiln firing.
Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, we have two 4-credit ceramics studio courses to cover: Introduction to Ceramics & Intermediate/Advanced Ceramics. The ceramics studio at UWL is a vibrant area with state-of-the-art facilities. The instructor will also have a personal office and access to the studio area 24/7.
If you’re interested, please apply to the UWL Art Adjunct Pool. In your cover letter, be sure to highlight your interest and expertise in ceramics.
Application review begins April 13, 2026.
