The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is pleased to host Maps of the Intangible: National Juried Exhibition, from October 6th- Oct. 28, 2022.
Submissions are due August 15, 2022. This exhibition will be curated by Karin Rutkin.
Traditionally maps present information about the physical world in a visual way. For this exhibition, artists are asked to explore the idea of “the map” through an introspective lens. Artists are encouraged to consider the idea of “space” beyond the physical: internal, emotional, subconscious, metaphysical,… etc. All media is welcome!
