The Ceramics Studio at the Flower City Arts Center is looking for 2 – 3 artists-in-residence for September 2019 through August 2020. The resident will have 24/7 access to a private studio space, a $1500 firing stipend, materials at cost, and a small (grant dependent) living stipend. In return the studio requires 10 hours weekly which is spent teaching, on studio maintenance, and helping with gallery events and open studio access. The year is spent making a cohesive body of work, culminating in a show in the Firehouse Gallery. BFA or MFA preferred, and candidates must want to be a part of a community studio in a nonprofit art center.
The deadline to enter is April 15, 2019. Call Kate at (585) 271–5183 for more information.
