The Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in art and design, in the area of ceramics. Applicants should have an active track record engaging ceramic methodologies. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the discourse in contemporary art and design, with capacity to engage undergraduate and graduate curricular programs. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are open to collaborative/interdisciplinary teaching, research, and creative projects within the Stamps school, across other academic units at the University of Michigan, and into the broader community context.
