Dharamkot Studio is pleased to announce a rare 6-day intensive ceramic workshop with internationally respected British ceramic artist Dylan Bowen, taking place in the Himalayan village of Dharamkot, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Known for his expressive forms, dynamic surfaces, and distinctive slip-trailing techniques, Dylan Bowen has built an international reputation for work that balances tradition, spontaneity, and bold contemporary expression. This workshop offers participants an opportunity to engage directly with his methods, philosophy, and making process.
Across six immersive days, participants will explore:
• Expressive approaches to wheel throwing and form building
• Hand-building and assembling with wet clay
• Surface development through slip trailing and decoration
• Process-led experimentation and playful making
• Developing personal language through clay
This workshop is designed for practicing ceramic artists, potters, advanced students, and committed learners seeking to deepen their studio practice through direct engagement with a leading contemporary maker.
