Arch Contemporary Ceramics in Tiverton, RI is seeking applicants for an 8-week Residency (February 1-March 31, 2016), which will include 24-hour studio access with unrestricted use of 12’ x 16’ gallery space to develop and construct a site-specific installation culminating with a solo exhibition April 2016. For this unique opportunity, our goal is to provide the space and give ample time for a ceramic installation artist to thoughtfully develop and successfully execute a site-specific work of art encompassing the entire gallery space. The accepted resident will occupy the main gallery as a personal studio for 2 months while developing an installation to be open to public, kicking off our 2016 Exhibition Season, from April 1 – April 30, 2016.
