spring 2024.
ARTS3240 Eco Art and Ceramics
Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm
1/8/2024 – 4/25/2024Course description:
Contemporary and traditional approaches to clay with emphasis on wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. Exploration of sustainable production practices will also address surface decoration and responsible firing processes.
Some flexibility with the time of the course. Beautiful facilities that our instructors can also work in and set up a studio if interested.
Responsibilities
Creating a course syllabus utilizing the approved college template. (We have one to
share and can be used buy instructor)
Designing lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet the established
course description as well as program, course, and college learning outcomes and/or
objectives while addressing each student's needs as diverse learners.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Ceramics or a Masters Degree in a related field with 18 graduate
hours of specialization. Or relevant experience.
