We are hiring for the primary studio faculty position at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO.
State Fair Community College is connected to the Daum Museum, which hosts a phenomenal ceramic collection and opportunities for collaboration.
Position: State Fair Community College has an opening for a passionate and dedicated Visual Art Instructor to teach a variety of studio art courses, including drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, and photography, to a diverse student population at various skill levels on the Sedalia campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background, teaching experience, and a commitment to fostering creativity and technical proficiency in students. Classes will be predominantly on the Sedalia campus but may also include extended campus sites and online at discretion of the Associate Dean. This position has a projected start date of August 1, 2025.
Essential Job Functions:
The instructor will be responsible for teaching a range of Art classes which may include but not limited to:
• Painting
• Drawing
• Sculpture
• Ceramics
• Graphic Design
• Digital Photography
• Printmaking
