Jake Allee

My work consists of a vocabulary of forms, techniques, and textures that I rearrange giving me an endless array of possibilities. Division and arrangement of space within form are counter balanced by spontaneity in surface development. I strive to employ the tactile sensation clay provides in a manner that enables the viewer or user to experience the process of creation. I employ function in my work to give it focus and the element of practicality. My works are always a record of where I’m at in time and an expression of living life as an adventure!
