Fine Art 3D Technician: Moore College of Art and Design

Purpose:

Maintains the Small Metals, Welding and Ceramic classrooms, facilities and equipment and additionally the woodshop in the summer. Responsible for ordering and inventory, Health & Safety signage and equipment repair. Organizes and monitors for safety the junior and senior Fine Art studio workspaces.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
– Basic shop skills and safety awareness
– Knowledge of welding, small metals, ceramics, sculpture processes and materials
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to work with a variety of people, to prioritize tasks, work effectively, to function as part of a team and work independently as needed
– Must be able to lift 50 lbs
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and the internet
