Artist Statement

Ceramics is art of transformation. I always been fascinated by Alchemy processes of clay. Therefore, I believe that ceramic medium best describes my inner, unstable and changing world.

Bio

Kaspars Geiduks was born in 1988. Since 2011 taking part in several exhibitions and art projects in Latvia, Czeck Republik, France, Denmark, Russia, Turkey, Belarus etc. 2013. – University of Latvia, Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art/ Professional bachelor`s degree in art and interior design. 2016.- Masters Studies in Latvian Academy, Master of Arts Degree in the Humanities, Qualification in Visual Plastic Art(Ceramics). As an ceramic artist represented in collections of Mark Rothko Art Centre (Latvija), Babruiskas Art Museum, Russia, Switzerland. Since 2013 working as architect assistant in “ArPlan”. Since 2017, has stabilized his studio focusing on study’s of ceramic kilns and various firing techniques, creating a wood firing research center.
