KC Clay Guild Artist in Residence applications are due April 15, 2020. 1-2 years, $2500 annual stipend, private studios with 24 hour access, free firing, NCECA conference travel support, opportunities to teach, and an awesome KC ceramics community are just some of the benefits.
KC Clay Guild hosts three Artists in Residence. The Artists in Residence are provided with studios, materials, and a monthly stipend. In exchange, the Artists in Residence provide new prospectives to the KCCG community in addition to serving 12 hours per week in the studio.
An ideal Artist in Residence candidate for KC Clay Guild (KCCG) is an artist ready to jump-start their career in ceramics. Applicants do not need to have any formal education in the ceramic arts, but must demonstrate their passion and interest for the field. KC Clay Guild is a community based and member driven nonprofit organization. We hope that our Artists in Residence are interested in collaborating with and becoming a member of our thriving community of novice, intermediate, advanced ceramic artists.
