Lecturer – Ceramics – University of North Texas

The University of North Texas is seeking a Lecturer to teach in the Ceramics Program. Review of applications begins January 15th, 2017.

Responsibilities: Teach all levels of undergraduate and graduate courses in ceramics, including clay fabrication techniques, clay and glaze mixing and application, and firing in electric and gas/wood kilns. Working with the ceramics lab technician, there are some maintenance and supervision responsibilities. Faculty is expected to maintain an active professional practice, and participate in the development and coordination of the ceramics program. On-going, active participation in institutional committees and student advising is expected.
