Statement

My work is a visual exploration of the resilient fragility of nature. It is about time, birth, death, observation, beauty and loss.

I work with clay, glass and found objects to create site-specific installations and smaller object based work.

My current installation series examines the impact that human development has had on the natural world, exploring themes of lost habitat, damaged environments and disappearing animal populations.

In other works, I draw on my training as a classical archaeologist to create modern reliquaries from clay, glass, metal and found objects, crafting intimate narratives that explore the cycles of life in nature.
