Cuesta College is accepting applications for a full-time tenure-track instructor for Ceramics in the Fine Arts Division. Assignments may be day or evening at the San Luis Obispo campus. Ceramic courses include: Introduction to Ceramics, Wheel-Throwing I and II, Hand Building, Alternative Firing Techniques, and Ceramic Sculpture. In addition to Ceramics, Fine Arts includes disciplines in Art History, Drawing, Graphics, Painting, Photography (digital and darkroom), Printmaking, and Sculpture. Our Fine Arts instructors are dedicated to both teaching and creative practices based in contemporary art. The San Luis Obispo campus is home to The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery, an active gallery space presenting rotating exhibitions of contemporary art that show diverse and challenging work from national and international artists.

- KM-1218 Skutt computerized electric kiln (2 years old)
- Olympic Computerized electric test kiln (1 year old)

- Glaze mixing studio
- 12 Brent electric 7 Lockerbie Kickwheels
- Bailey large capacity extruder with die sets
- Spray booth
- Access to fully equipped woodshop and metal studio
- Makerbot 3D Printers
