Crystal Morey

Artist Statement

Crystal Morey finds inspiration in the quickly changing and intricately complicated relationships humans and animals share in our natural world. With interests in both wild and urban landscapes, Morey is aware of human impacts on the environment and how all creatures and habitats are interconnected. Through the delicate medium of porcelain, she explores these ideas, creating a heightened sense of urgency and stress, commenting on our human evolutionary path.
